Gretchen M. Miller is a Registered Board Certified Art Therapist and Certified Trauma Consultant who practices in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Art Therapy from Bowling Green State University and earned her Master of Arts in Art Therapy at Ursuline College. Gretchen serves on the Board of Directors for Art Therapy Without Borders, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting international art therapy initiatives in mental health, healthcare, and education worldwide and is the Founder of The Art Therapy Alliance.
In her clinical work, Gretchen specializes in using art in trauma intervention related to domestic violence, grief, and loss with youth and families. She also presents, lectures, and teaches nationally on the application of art therapy, including CPP workshops for the art therapy community and educational programs about the therapeutic uses and benefits of papermaking with veterans.
