Hannah Pitkin, former student of the University of Vermont, has recently moved to Boston, MA to pursue an art degree from Massachusetts College of Art in the fall of 2011. Her priorities until then are primarily, growth as an artist, in all mediums including photography, painting, and writing, growth as an intellectual, and as a human being.
Hannah's involvement with Combat Papermakers and Iraq Veterans Against the War has given her huge insight into the concept of art as therapy, and has also aided in communication and positive activism. Her relationships with these artists has aided immensely in her growth in these fields. Her future work with Combat Papermakers will not only be valuable to Hannah as a photographer and writer, but will greatly help to progress the publication and visual representation of Combat Papermakers and their work, start to finish.
