Combat Paper Portfolios
Volumes I - III
Support for the Combat Paper Project is provided through individual donations, institutional lecture and appearance fees and sale of Combat Paper portfolios.
Each limited edition portfolio is handcrafted by project members from lineage combat paper. While each volume is comprised of individual broadsides, measuring approximately 12 X 18 inches, the envelopes and image details for each volume are somewhat different, making each volume unique. |
 Combat Paper Portfolio, Volume I, on exhibit, 2007
The first portfolio is a limited edition of six. All are signed by project founders Drew Matott and Drew Cameron on the individually typed colophon. Volume I was made from uniforms worn in Iraq by former Navy Corpsman Chanan Suarez-Diaz, former United States Marine Corps Infantryman Cloy Richards, and former United States Marine Corps Corporal Matt Howard. This edition has sold out. Copies reside in the collections at the Boston Athenaeum, Lafayette College, Library of Congress, Western Carolina University and the University of Vermont. The sixth edition is currently on exhibition.
The second portfolio is a limited edition of six. All are signed by project founders Drew Matott and Drew Cameron on a screen printed colophon. Volume II is made with uniforms of Chanan Suarez-Diaz, Jon Micheal Turner, Adrienne Kinne, Drew Cameron, Cloy Richards, Matt Howard, Eli Wright, Nate Lewis, Mike Blake, and Phil Aliff. This edition has sold out. Copies reside in collections at Scripps College, Temple University, University of Connecticut and the Bavarian State Library in Munich, Germany. |

Volume III is a limited edition of six. All are signed on the screen printed colophon by project founders Drew Matott and Drew Cameron. Volume III is also made with uniforms from Chanan Suarez-Diaz, Jon Micheal Turner, Adrienne Kinne, Drew Cameron, Cloy Richards, Matt Howard, Eli Wright, Nate Lewis, Mike Blake, and Phil Aliff. This edition has sold out.
