Jon Michael Turner, Drew Cameron, Drew Matott, John La Falce, Eli Wright will conduct a CP workshop with Bay area veterans. The workshop is in conjunction with a small exhibit, evening lectures and performances.

Hosted by Sandy Kinnee from Colorado Center for Handmade Paper and Colorado College. KKTV covered the event; the local Fox affiliate also ran a video piece.

The exhibit American Psyche curated by Marshall Weber (Booklyn Artists Alliance) features artists books made by Combat Papermakers. The exhibit in the King Street Gallery runs from October 27 - November 26. The exhibit is in conjunction with the annual Pyramid Atlantic Artists Book conference.

Drew Matott, Drew Cameron and a host of returned Iraq Vet papermakers will conduct papermaking and warrior writer workshops throughout the week. Sandra Bernat of Seastone Papers will be hosting the workshops. A culminating exhibit of Combat Paper will be open to the public on July 26th. Sara Nesson's Iraq Paper Scissors film in progress will also be shown.

Drew Matott and Phil Aliff will join a panel discussion about responding to the Iraq war through creative practice. The panel discussion will be held in conjunction with a showing of the Mutanabbi Street Broadsides and Combat Paper Exhibit, sponsored by the Montalvo Arts Center.
